I have been working with Sarah Gibbons for two years and she is my guiding light. She has helped me in my professional and personal life. She is insightful. She is practical. She is wise. I’ve gotten married, changed jobs and most importantly, feel I’m creating the life I want to live and enjoying the journey. Every single time I meet with Sarah I come away with something profound and something practical that I use in my life.
Testimonial for Coach Sarah Gibbons
Starting a new job is never an easy endeavor. And the first 90 Days are the most crucial part of on-boarding. I was starting a new job as Principal Product Manager, managing a new team, and desperately wanting to make a great impression. I hoped to leverage her leadership experience and coaching skills to help me succeed in my new role. I can confidently say this has been the best entry into a company of my entire career. Lisa’s guidance has been phenomenal. With her help and support, I have strengthened my leadership skills. I have learned new ways to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization and navigate stress and conflict more confidently and calmly. Within my first two months, I was recognized on three different occasions for outstanding contributions. By month five, I was promoted to Director! Working with Lisa has given me the tools and confidence to take on this new, challenging role.

I was in the midst of a major transition in my life when I came to see Andrea and was experiencing some anxiety as a result. I felt fully supported by her as the session progressed. The guided meditation was incredible… I felt lightness and currents of energy coursing through my body. Also a deep sense of peace and knowing that I am on the right path. I reconnected with source and felt powerful and heart-centered. After the session, I basically floated out of there.

Let’s get them answered.
This is your life. You are the creator of your experience.
If you need help making better choices, feeling love/joy/peace, believing again that what you want it possible, we are here to help. We understand. It’s easy to keep going, as is, and accepting what is. But what if you could experience life to its fullest potential? Instead of days, weeks, years going by with the same goals or dreams feeling far away, what if they felt right in front of you? Ready for you now. This is it, your time to live inspired.
How does coaching differ than therapy?
Therapy focuses on understanding the past. Most of the discussion and energy is on what has happened; what happened last week, last month, five years ago…and really understanding it. Coaching focus on the future, while acknowledging the past. Coaches believe there are certain times with therapy is necessary, like when a person isn’t able to acknowledge and accept their past, but feel once one can do that, it’s important to focus energy on moving forward. Coaches offer tools, exercises and mental-frameworks that help one understand their own inner power and ability to move forward, not resting on what was, but what can be. In addition, therapy tends to have no end point, but coaching has a specified timeframe with a specified end point, or a goal of what would like to be accomplished within a certain period of time. That timeframe might be 3 months to one year, and coachee and coach can always agree to extend the coaching, but coaching typically does not stretch beyond a two year engagement.
How much does coaching cost?
Coaching is similar to the price of therapy, but it works differently in that sessions are sold in packages – firm start and end date. You also receive unlimited email support and short calls/texts in-between sessions when needed. Prices include unlimited email support. At the lower end of the range, expect to pay $125/session, mid-range is roughly $200/session, while executive and master coaches may charge upwards of $350/hour. Packages usually start with 6 sessions, but each coach has their own package requirements. We recommend 4-6 months, 2-3 sessions a month.
How do you meet with your coach?
If you are lucky enough to have a coach working on-site at your workplace, you’ll see him/her in-person, but the overwhelming majority of coaches work virtually, either via video conference (Skype, Zoom, etc.) or by telephone. That way, you and your coach can be anywhere in the world and still have a fantastic coaching relationship. (Collective Gain Staffers tend to prefer video or phone sessions with their coach so they can take copious notes and use the time we would have spent getting there on reflection.)
