I wanted to approach my anxieties and struggles from a new way. I tried psychologists, psychiatrists, and medication, but things just had not been right with me. I was caught in a loop of letting my emotions spiral me into periods of negativity and panic. I felt like I needed a third party to help pull me out of this “funk.”
Ryann is amazing at translating my emotional and often jumbled speech into coherent and succinct thoughts. It was amazing how quickly she could absorb and digest the information I gave her. She was able to speak to me in a new way that really resonated with me. I loved the way she was able to help me rationalize and validate my own thoughts. This catalyzed my understanding of negative thoughts and encouraged me to listen to myself.
Ryann helped me see that I can choose to change my outcome by deciding to have positive thoughts. I am taking a more active and engaged role in my mood + I am more aware of my emotions/thoughts and their trajectories. This awareness is empowering because I feel like I can sort of reach inside of myself and nudge my thought process onto a better path when things are starting to go the wrong way. I would absolutely recommend Ryann as a coach; she is just wonderful.
I was feeling stuck in my career, self-deprecating in my thoughts, and all of Ryann’s weekly emails spoke to me. Her style of communication focuses on believing in something greater than us and being happy with who you are, not when circumstances change, but right here and now – principals I believe deep down too but don’t live by on a daily basis. I was nervous to open up. I was nervous of being judged or unaccepted for my flaws and lack of having it all together. She’s 100% professional, but it also felt like I was talking to a close friend; I loved the practical steps she challenged me to take post-sessions that got my thoughts out of my head and onto paper (a step I don’t think I would’ve had the courage to take alone).
Since working with Ryann, I find that I blame less and have more acceptance (of myself).
